Idaho/Montana: North Couloir, McGowan Peak, ID
If you’re a mountain lover, the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho are a must visit. Locals will scoff at the attention the Sawtooth gets, seeing as there are so many other fabulous adjacent ranges, but there is something very special about the Sawtooth Range. Plentiful hot springs, world class mountain biking, and authentic wilderness experiences are strewn all about the Sawtooth, especially when accessed from the Stanley area.
