I always appreciate contributing to Backcountry Magazine. In the Hidden Issue, I share stories from a super special ski trip to Ulleungdo Island with my good friend and photographer, Ryan Salm. Freezing cold surf, some of the best food of my life and some truly wild adventure skiing are a few of the themes. Also a welcomed surprise to see a beautiful sunrise photo shot by Ming Poon as one of the gallery shots in this issue. Taken from a dreamy day at home last winter, it was one of those special sessions that are forever engrained in the memory bank.
