I’m starring down the definition of a perfect couloir. No one has ever climbed this line before. It’s never been skied. I watch as one of my three partners drops into the tight, snaking line that’s coated in Polar Powder. The line is so aesthetic it’s as if it were pulled straight from a couloir skiers dream. The funny thing is that earlier that morning we had had already skied another couloir in similar conditions-another line that had never previously seen tracks. In Sisimiut, Greenland the options for exploration, powder skiing, and cultural immersion are unmatched. It’s quite simply of one the most stunning places to ski tour in the world.
