The article, linked here, is a good reminder of how busy it is likely going to be in the backcountry this season, and the utter importance of doing things right, which means doing things safely. Get the right gear, learn how to use it, and most importantly, learn how to travel in as well as be safe in avalanche terrain. It may save your or another humans life.
