Last Saturday, Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) opened for the 2014-2015 ski season. With storms pounding the area for the week leading up to opening day, anticipation was high for a big one. Thankfully, by the end of November 29th, powder seekers were satiated. RMR has been growing its reputation as one of the top ski resorts in North America since they opened up shop in 2007. They offer the most continuous vertical on the continent with a whopping 5,620 vertical feet of skiing and riding. While the resort lends itself to being a destination for all lovers of snow and snow sliding, this place is paradise for powder junkies and freeriders.
